Landscape Photography

Throughout my photographic journey, I have always enjoyed photographing landscapes due to love of walking and living in the countryside most of my life. 

Landscapes became main interest during my university years and I created a range of projects based on the subject.

The projects included:

• Photographing preserved mines throughout the Peak District inspired by my father being a miner's apprentice at the age of 19.

• Using the technique 'Twilight Lighting' to create landscape images during Golden Hour along the River Avon in Somerset.

I am also inspired by cinematography, going to landscape where films and TV shows have been created, including Stanage Edge, where the 2005 version of Pride & Prejudice was filmed.
